B.Sc. Chemistry with Industrial Experience Full-time

Year: 3
2025/26 Session

Any student failing to pass Year 3 of the programme will have failed the Year in Industry and will not be allowed to continue on this course. In this situation a student will be allowed to transfer and commence Year 3 of one of the BSc Chemistry programmes (provided that they meet the appropriate prerequisites) at the start of the next new academic year. Any student unable to complete the requirements of their work placement for disciplinary reasons will have failed the Year in Industry. Depending on the outcome of any resulting disciplinary action taken at the University, a student will be allowed to transfer and commence Year 3 on one of the BSc Chemistry programmes (provided that they meet the appropriate prerequisites) at the start of the next academic year. A student choosing to withdraw from the industrial placement after it has commenced will normally only be allowed to continue his/her studies by transferring on the BSc Chemistry programme at the start of the next new academic year. Diploma of Higher Education (as an exit qualification) after Satisfactorily completing 200 credits with at least 100 credits at Level I (Level 2).
